At the end of the end….the day was hectic starting out, due to ants of course.
Most of us got off to the All Cast meeting, which went long but cool things were done toward the end for the 50th celebration next year.
Family came for the final day and it turns out our numbers were pretty high. The weather was good, people were happy and I was thinking “has it really been seven weekends already?”
I was really tired from a bad night’s sleep which included taking Nyquil too late in the evening – I wasn’t quite right all day.
The Puritans were wearing excuses on their backs as to why they weren’t Raptured – funny. When the whore-house left for Grand Ring Out it was remarked “THEM but not US??” So they milked that for all they could – go them.
At Grand Ring Out we did Cirque de Cloche (sp?) and went as a side show: The Bearded whore, the Contortionist whore, the Tattooed whore and don’t forget the Conjoined Twin whores (THAT costs extra!) It was a good time, lots of fun and I didn’t see any nudity…there were tons of notes about NO NUDITY. I guess we listen….sometimes.
We ended the day with household awards and clean up for next weekend’s tear down. I didn’t get into bed until 1:45, and not to sleep until after 2. Good thing I LOVE the Faire.
