Ravelry, You Are Full Of Win

I spent some time combing through the free crochet patterns on Ravelry and came away with some great patterns and great ideas.

While I’ve been crocheting for the better part of 25 years, I’m not the type to create something from nothing, but I can follow a pattern and can adjust a pattern or several to come up with something new.  Case in point, I couldn’t find a mermaid pattern I made one by combining the pattern for a doll and a butterfly – voila, I know you can see it too.

Well, I was just perusing their patterns when I found the “menstrual cup cozy” which looks like a purse to me!  I’m a fan of drawstring hand-bags (don’t ask why) but this is a lovely one that looks like a uterus with fallopian tube drawstrings.

As soon as I make one I’ll post a picture and the link…until then though...I’ll just leave  you with this teaser…crochet tampon key-chains.
