This weekend was pretty good. After I covered from looking at my daughter’s college bill, I went down to the L.A. area for the weekend.
I took an old friend out to dinner, it was a nice meal and it was fun catching up. Had you asked me 20 years ago, would I be swapping health horror stories with friends of course I would’ve said no..or HELL NO…or something, but that’s what we ended up doing. Hilariously, the guy in the booth next to ours insisted in putting his two cents into our conversation…luckily I’ve trained for that all my life, thanks family, so I could roll with his punches. Then I said a few things he didn’t want to hear – I win.
Saturday, Cousin H and I took a 1920’s style dance moves class - now I can incorporate the Charleston into my routines with flare! I enjoy those classes, because I often wonder how bad I actually am, but I managed to keep up with the rest of the class…oh, and the exercise was great too.
Sunday Cousin H and I headed home, stopping at the grocery store to pick up a few odds n ends. We got home at a reasonable time, which is always good – I dislike Faire season when I roll up to the house at 11:00PM knowing that I have to go to work the next day. :-/
